Monash University Biological Society
The Biological Society is a student run organisation that provides a relaxed, friendly environment in which students can deepen their appreciation of the biological sciences. We endeavour to achieve this in a number of ways.
Firstly we give students the opportunity to participate in conservation projects around Victoria. These projects include the Regent Honeyeater habitat Restoration Project in Benalla and assisting the Rangers at Phillip Island.
Secondly we run a variety of career orientated events throughout the year that provide students with networking opportunities with industry professionals and introduce them to a variety of career paths.
Lastly, we provide a friendly environment for students to meet likeminded people at university. We run numerous social events including BBQ’s, movie nights and our annual cocktail night at the end of the year! You don’t need to be a biology student, just have an interest in all things living!
