Upcoming Events

The Monash Biological Society runs a number of volunteering and social events for our members, including regular BBQs, social camps and volunteer camps. In the past, we've also run movie nights, end-of-year parties, salsa nights and fundraisers.

Volunteer work is a great way for science students to get hands on, practical experience that stands out on the CV and helps you to make that final step into the workplace after completing your degree. The Biological Society provides opportunities to do volunteer work with researchers and get involved in conservation initiatives outside of the university.

As well as volunteering opportunities, the Biological Society also runs a number of social events to give you a chance to relax, have some fun and get to know all the people who make up the club.

Activities and Education Subcommittees

If you want to get involved in brainstorming and organising volunteering or social events, joining a Subcommittee is a great way to help out and get your ideas heard without having to take on too many responsibilities within the club.
Anyone can join a subcommittee, even if you are part time or only around for one semester.

If you want to get involved email our Social Secretary Ruby (activities@biologicalsociety.com.au) to join the Activities Subcommittee, or our Education Officer Shannon (education@biologicalsociety.com.au) to join the Education Subcommittee.
